Dwight is a native of Eunice, LA and a graduate of Eunice High School. He earned a Bachelor's degree at the University of Southwestern Louisiana and subsequently was the band director at Eunice High School (1993-1997). From 1997 to today, Mr. Jodon has made a career as a local business owner. In addition to vocational experience, Mr. Jodon also has been quite active in civic and community events both as a volunteer and leader. Community activities include such things as co-founder and conductor of the Eunice Community Concert Band & Choir (1990-present), membership in Eunice Rotary Club (1997-present), music director at First United Methodist Church of Eunice (1986-2013), co-founder of Experience Louisiana Festival (2015-2018), member and past president of the LSU Eunice Board of Advisors (2013-present) as well as a plethora of volunteer positions which have served to support and promote the community and culture.
