Paul Feavel
Paul is a senior non-profit executive, Director of Finance and Planned Giving for Bellevue College Foundation since 2009. Previously, he opened the fundraising office for The Seattle Public Library Foundation and built their annual giving program. He has been responsible for soliciting lead and major gifts, planned gifts, grants and annual gifts, accounting, audits and tax filings. Prior to joining the Seattle Public Libraries, he was a reporter, news editor and features editor for weekly newspapers. A supporter of the arts, he organized The Fool Serious booster program for The Seattle International Film Festival, and he co-produced a Showcase national convention exploring the heritage of American radio comedy and drama. The Seattle home he and wife Jean Johnson shared was for more than a decade a regular stop for Louisiana musicians touring the West Coast, presenting performances and cultural programs. Regular visitors to Acadiana, Paul and Jean purchased the Liberty Theatre Building in 2014 (that is the two-story frontage adjacent to the Liberty Theatre running along South 2nd Street with sidewalk level retail shops and upper level offices and event space). Paul and Jean are now full-time Eunice residents with Paul continuing to work remotely for Bellevue College.
